Uniformed Groups

Those who aspire glory in the uniformed groups have the NCC Land , NPCC, Red Cross and Girl Guides to choose from. Broadrick Secondary Uniformed Groups develop a sense of pride, duty, loyalty, discipline, integrity and courage through the various activities our uniformed group members engage in. These values define their characters and instill in them the moral compass to be outstanding citizens who will significantly contribute to their families and nation building in the very near future.

 

Broadrick National Cadet Corps

Established in 2006, Broadrick NCC aims to nurture our student cadets to be resourceful, responsible, resilient, leaders and team players through fun and challenging military-related activities. Driven by the 7 core values of the National Cadet Corps, we continuously challenge our cadets to be the best that they can be, through drills, individual field craft, weapons handling, physical training, competitions, courses and camps. Having sustained our Bronze Award in the Best Unit Competition, we look forward to achieving greater heights, through the dedication and efforts of our teacher officers, cadet officers and cadets.

National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC)


Vision:

The VISION of the National Police Cadet Corps is to become the best youth organisation in Singapore, one that actively helps to make Singapore the safest place in the world.

Mission:

The MISSION of the National Police Cadet Corps is to develop our members to be active citizens and community leaders, by working in partnership with the Singapore Police Force to fight crime and keep Singapore safe.

In NPCC, cadets are exposed to drill, campcraft, physical, adventure and leadership training. Currently, the total strength of the unit stands at 73 cadets. With the dedication of the teachers, volunteers and cadets, we hope to achieve more success in all our future endeavours.

Red Cross

Vision:

To realise the Singapore Red Cross as a leading and distinctive humanitarian organization that brings together people and institutions in aid of the vulnerable.

Mission:

We are dedicated to protecting human life and dignity, relieving human suffering and responding to emergencies.

Objectives:

Our objectives are to provide assistance in relief operations in times of disaster and in auxiliary health and welfare services to the sick, the handicapped, the aged and the poor without any distinction on grounds of race, nationality, religion or political opinions, and to furnish voluntary aid to the sick and wounded in time of war and to non-belligerents, prisoners of war and civilians sufferers from the effects of war.

Broadrick Girl Guides Unit is currently in their second year of running and we are happy to share that we have attained a Bronze Award for our efforts in 2011!

This proves that we are on the right track and as our girls gear up for more fun and exciting activities; they also look to do their best to attain greater achievements in 2012.

Broadrick Girl Guides Unit firmly believes that every Guide can be a leader and we seek to continually encourage active participation of our girls through a variety of activities.

To value add to our Guides, the teachers in charge and the Girl Guide leaders have come together to plan for an enriching experience for the year 2012. We believe that our year long programme will help instil in our Guides the values of Sincerity, Passion, Integrity, Compassion and Enterprise and provide sufficient platforms for them to put these values into action.
