Our Objectives

To inculcate in students a sense of Gratitude, Respect and Compassion (GRC) who make responsible decisions for the betterment of self, school, community and the nation

Our Programmes

Education and Career Guidance (ECG)

  • To promote career exploration through learning journeys, industrial visits and talks by relevant speakers.

  • To encourage self-discovery and healthy respect for the diverse educational and career pathways.

  • To empower students to make well-informed and optimal post-secondary decisions independently.

Students can explore our ECG Resource Hub ( https://go.gov.sg/brd-ecg-resource-hub) for curated resources on post-secondary pathways, entry requirements, the world of work, and self-discovery.

Students seeking further exploration of post-secondary pathways or personalised guidance regarding career interests, strengths, and passions are invited to schedule a consultation with the school’s MOE-ECG Counsellor, Ms Sherry Long @ long_ai_sin@moe.edu.sg.

National Education (NE)

  • To provide our students with the knowledge, skills and values to understand Singapore's history, realities and challenges unique to our nation and appreciate our journey to nationhood.

  • To foster a strong sense of belonging to the nation through celebration of commemorative events such as Total Defence Day, International Friendship Day, Racial Harmony Day and National Day

Students participate in Total Defence activities including CPR training, presentations, and Exercise SG Ready drills at a Singapore school.

Commemorating Total Defence Day — a meaningful moment to reflect with compassion and respect for those who protect and strengthen our nation.

Sexuality Education

Sexuality Education (SEd) in schools is about enabling students to understand the physiological, social and emotional changes they experience as they mature, develop healthy and rewarding relationships including those with members of the opposite sex, and make wise, informed and responsible decisions on sexuality matters. SEd is premised on the importance of the family as the basic unit of society. This means encouraging healthy, heterosexual marriages and stable nuclear family units with extended family support. The teaching and learning of SEd is based on respect for the values and beliefs of the different ethnic and religious communities in Singapore on sexuality issues.
