iCON stands for "Individualised CONnectivity". It represents the government’s initiative to provide students and staff with a unified email and collaboration platform, enabling seamless communication, collaboration, and access to digital tools in the educational ecosystem.

Q1. What is the naming convention for the Student iCON email address?

  • The student’s email address follows the format: @students.edu.sg.

  • Any spaces in the full name will be replaced with an underscore (_).

  • Words such as “Bin", "Bte", and “s/o” will not appear in the email address.

  • For students with identical full names, a numerical identifier is added (e.g., Jon_Tan_1, Jon_Tan_2) to differentiate email addresses.
