Art Decal on Overhead Bridge at Old Airport Road
Art Competition organized by Broadrick Secondary School in collaboration with the Mountbatten Citizens' Consultative Committee (CCC)
Open to Secondary 1–3 students to design art decals
Selected artworks will be displayed at the Pedestrian Overhead Bridge (POB) across Old Airport Road
To cultivate gratitude by encouraging students to use art to appreciate and honour the contributions, stories, and experiences of community members.

Nutrition and Food Science Unit (NFS)
Our Objectives
To empower students to make informed decisions as discerning consumers
Our Programmes
Lower Secondary – Supermarket Tour
Sec 1 students go on a guided supermarket tour with FCE teachers
Learn tips for making economical and healthy food choices
Lower Secondary – In-Vend My Meal!
NFS unit collaborated with Chef-in-Box (JR Vending) to raise awareness of Food Innovation and Technology
Programme aims to nurture future-ready learners
As part of alternative assessment, FCE students design and create healthy fusion dishes suitable for vending machines
Lower Secondary – Ice-cream making workshop
Sec 1 G1 students participate in an ice-cream making workshop as part of their enrichment programme
Hands-on activity combines fun with learning
Students learn the ice cream-making process and understand the effects of impurities during freezing
Upper Secondary – Food Science and Sensory Evaluation workshop
Sec 3 G3 students attend a 3-hour workshop at Temasek Polytechnic (School of Applied Sciences)
Explore common food starches through experiments on thickening and freezing properties under various conditions
Conduct sensory evaluations of different starch formulations in the sensory evaluation room
Upper Secondary – Molecular Gastronomy workshop
Sec 3 G2 students learn techniques such as spherification, emulsification, and powderisation using new technologies and natural texturing agents
Apply skills to deconstruct desserts and cocktails
Combine knowledge of food science and culinary arts
Upper Secondary – Elective Module: Culinary and Pastry & Baking by SHATEC
Sec 3 G2 & G1 students enroll in a basic pastry and baking skills programme
Gain hands-on experience using Food & Beverage industrial equipment
Participate in interactive sessions with trainers who are former chefs from renowned establishments
